The Downriver area is underserved when it comes to family services in Wayne County, specifically in the area of Supervised Parenting Time. Our team is looking to change that. We want to provide an affordable, safe place for supervised parenting time that is local to Downriver residents. 

 

Downriver Family Connections is an offshoot of Kimberly A. Grover, PLLC, a family law office specializing in divorce and child custody matters. Kimberly A. Grover serves as the Advising Director.

The Executive Director for DFC is Jennie Grover Paxton. Jennie has a rich background in education- a former English teacher, instructional coach, new teacher mentor, and assistant principal. She deeply believes that a healthy environment that encourages positive child-parent relationships is essential for family success.

Our visitation supervisors are made up of educators and school counselors who have experience in supporting families. Our supervisors' role is to encourage healthy meaningful parenting time while in our center. The supervisors will document parenting time interactions, and provide reports to the court on request. ​​​​​
